This Giant Trevally Feeding Frenzy on a Tuna is Terrifyingly Awesome

Did you know giant trevally do this?

When you think of giant trevally, you often think of exotic locations and fishing the flats. As you are about to see, you might start thinking about piranha-like feeding frenzies. The folks over at Jigging A la Carta recorded something sort of crazy. One thing is for sure, giant trevally sure are wicked when they school up.

Just watch as they throw a decent sized dead tuna into the middle of a school of large GT's. It seems like they feed these fish at that location because they start reacting to the food as it is still in the air. What happens next, well, just watch and see.

Pretty crazy right? Just imagine if a human jumped into the middle of that mix. Do you think they would still act that way? I don't think I would want to find out.
