A Wayward Cow Elk in Idaho Ended Up in a Basement... Again

An elk ends up in an Idaho basement...again.

It's been something of a rough winter for the western states. Last month we told you about a cow elk that ended up in someone's basement in Idaho.

Well, unbelievably, it happened again...

Even the Idaho fish and game seemed to be surprised in their post of a photo of the cow on Facebook.

Considering the fact that other Idaho winter wildlife headlines so far this year have included 30 pronghorns dying on a remote lake and a bunch of mule deer that ended up on a roof top, do you get the feeling the animals are trying to tell us something about how much winter stinks?

There's certainly been no shortage of amusing wayward animal stories this winter. Thankfully this one had a happy ending. Keep it here at Wide Open Spaces for more funny wildlife stories this winter!
