Kansas game wardens free bucks with a gun for third time in a year.
But now, we're wondering if this sort of rescue has become standard practice after the wardens posted ANOTHER video of a similar rescue!
A Kansas Game Warden does it again. Our officers have a deep concern for the wildlife they are called to protect, and are well trained with their firearms. This is another example of a concerned citizen working with the local Game Warden to protect wildlife. Thank you both for saving this buck and setting it free! Don't try this at home. If you should encounter a situation like this, please call your local Game Warden and we will consider all the options before taking the shot. Well done again to the sportsman for calling us and to our Game Warden for the careful shot!

In case you haven't been keeping track, this is Kansas' third one of these videos this year. Much like the last video, one of the bucks already died, as coyotes had consumed part of his body. Their Facebook page also offers some advice to the public should they encounter two bucks in a similar situation.
"Don't try this at home," the post reads. "If you should encounter a situation like this, please call your local game warden and we'll consider all the options before taking the shot. Well done again to the sportsman for calling us and to our game warden for the careful shot."
The video didn't identify this warden, but again, we'd like to congratulate the him on a fine rescue!
