Have you ever gone fishing for paddlefish? Most people probably haven't. These somewhat obscure fish are plankton feeders that don't go for bait. So, the only way to catch one is to snag them.
It sounds difficult, but apparently it can be done and it's quite popular in Oklahoma. Watch as YouTuber FLAIR catches a few of these fish in the video below.
Boy paddlefish sure are freaky-looking, aren't they? This type of fishing looks like an exercise of patience. But, much like sturgeon fishing, it sure looks like a lot of fun to go out and catch these prehistoric monsters. We'll have to add this to our bucket list of exotic fish to chase after someday!
