Video: Alberta Fish and Wildlife Officer Separates Bucks With a Shotgun

One stellar shot gave a locked-up buck the chance to fight again.

We've watched a number of videos over the years which show fish and wildlife officers using their firearm to free locked-up bucks.

The latest, filmed Oct. 10, highlights the amazing skill and accuracy an Alberta, Canada, officer used to help a buck live to fight again.

Greg Gilbertson found the pair of locked bucks while driving a side road north of Whitecourt early that fall morning. A retired Fish and Wildlife officer himself, Gilbertson put in a call for help.

Officer Mike Little showed up on the scene, and made the quick decision to use his shotgun to free the two bucks.

Another job well done by the men and women that protect our wildlife!
