Tired Whitetail Buck Doesn't Care Who's Grabbing His Antlers

A buck worn out from the rut doesn't budge when this man walks right up to him to see what's going on.

The rut can be grueling, especially for younger bucks that don't exemplify dominance. They spend their days during the rut getting their butts whooped by bigger bucks. They continuously chase does that want nothing to do with them. The end result you might ask? Well, this video of a tired whitetail buck explains it all.

The deer was later dispatched by a game warden who suspected it contracted epizootic hemorrhagic disease.

All we know for sure is that it didn't care one bit about this gentleman walking right up to him. The man petted him and felt his antlers and the buck never reacted.

However, you should always be careful when you approach a live animal. You never know how it might react. Thankfully, it seemed like this buck didn't have any clue what was going on.
