Oklahoma Man Built a House on Top of His Own Fishing Pond

We could see the appeal of a house over a fishing pond. This guy made it happen.

Paul Phillips of Skiatook, Oklahoma, had a vision, and it came to him after being told to move along from a spot he was fishing on.

"One of these days I'll have a place of my own, where nobody can tell me I can't fish!" he says.

Sound familiar? From, like, inside your own head?

It's fair to say this is a dream, and if you haven't thought of taking it this far, now you're all in.

Let's catch up with Tulsa's News On 6 report, and see just what Paul did.

A trapdoor to open up and drop a line, right in the middle of your living room?! Way to go Paul, you're a role model for us all!

It's not a completely foreign concept, and there are different ways to go about it, but if this is the kind of lifestyle Paul wants to live, who are we to argue?

Hey, whatever kind of house you want to make, you're entitled to it. And if you have a love of fishing and want to go to these extremes, more power to you!
