The Arctic Cat brand name will no longer appear on dirt-focused vehicles.
Don't get too worried, snowmobilers. Cold weather fans will see few changes. The Arctic Cat brand will remain on all Cat produced snow machines. However, Textron, the new owners of the popular brand, announced that it will be doing away with the Arctic Cat branding on ATVs and side-by-sides.
Textron took over official ownership of the brand this past winter. It used a dealer event in Dallas, TX recently to make the announcement.
The popular Wildcat, Prowler, and Alterra sub-brands will now be delivered under the Textron Off Road branding.
No changes are expected for the snowmobile line. At least, not yet.
