A RV influencer couple has tragically been found dead. Authorities discovered their bodies recently at a Florida campground. Previously, the married couple entertained their followers by blogging about their RV lifestyle and travels.
But it appears that everything was not right behind the scenes. Authorities are suspecting that the couple died in a murder-suicide. According to First Coast News, authorities discovered the bodies of Anissa and Christopher Osborne. The RV influencer couple were found dead inside their RV at the Ocean Pond Campground in the Osceola National Forest on Sunday. It appears that both suffered gunshot wounds leading to their death.
Police arrived at the scene to perform a welfare check. Fellow RV campers had become concerned about the couple. That's when they made the grisly discovery.
RV Murder Suicide
According to the Baker County Sheriff's Office, the working theory is that Christopher shot and killed his wife. He then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. More investigation will be needed. In addition to being bloggers, the two were hosts of the Ocean Pond Campground.
They regularly shared photos on social media, suggesting a happy marriage. The two had been married for 15 years prior to the tragedy. Her cousin, Laura Lorenzo Curry, says that their deaths hit the family hard.
"She was very, very happy, just a very kind of free spirit," Curry recalled. "She was a really vibrant, bubbly personality, absolutely hilarious. We were so thrilled when we first met Chris because he was such a sweet soul, But sometimes sweet souls can have a lot of things we don't even know about."
Social media posts certainly suggested a happy marriage. Christopher frequently posted pictures of his wife, including one that read "My wife, my angel. I can't live without you."
"He was always posting things about the love of his life and how much he loved his wife," Christopher's aunt, Sharon Alvarez, told the outlet. "To know that he killed her... this makes no sense."
So what happened in the RV? That remains under investigation.
