Nothing but Net! This is How You Net a Smallmouth Bass

He's not Michael Jordan, but he sure does know how to net a smallmouth bass.

Netting smallmouth bass is actually easier said than done. If you have any experience with these jumping beans you already know where I'm heading.

These fish will clear the water multiple times before you get them close to the boat which makes them that much more fun to catch.

Now try netting one by yourself while it's still jumping. This guy did. With ease.

Best thing about having a GoPro is you can capture and relive some of those awesome moments out on the water! This smallmouth was wearing Air Jordans! Nothing but net on this one!Special thanks to Wild West Bass Trail and Gary Yamamoto Custom Baits! I caught this fish on a 5 inch, wacky rigged senko in baby bass. Tai Au has his GoPro set up for some awesome footage during what appears to be a tournament. The smallmouth was practically asking to be caught. He nearly jumped in the boat.

This is definitely one of those fish-out-of-water moments.
