Massachusetts Man Attacked By Coyote

A Massachusetts man thought he was approaching a dog, but it was actually a wild predator.

As a hunter, I don't think I could ever mistake a coyote for a dog. In fact, if I don't see a collar on an animal, I usually assume it's wild and don't approach it. Well, this guy didn't get that memo.

He thought it was a husky, which I can understand if it approached like a dog. I'm still confused as to why a coyote would approach a person when they're normally fearful of them. It's a little unnerving to think the animal might've lost its fear of humans.

That coyote did some serious damage to this unfortunate guy. Do you think he'll take up predator hunting to get revenge after this encounter?
