This LS3-Powered 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL is the Ultimate Off-Road Sleeper

Here's the coolest Jeep Wrangler conversion we've seen yet. Florida-based Bruiser Conversions wasn't the first to modify a Wrangler JL, but this LS swap is the best we've seen so far.

The rate at which aftermarket companies are modifying the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL is remarkable. Last month, Dynatrac built a two-door, long-wheelbase JL riding on 42-inch tires, and now Bruiser Conversions of Clearwater, Florida has crammed a Corvette engine under the hood of the new Wrangler.

The engine is a GM Performance LS3 6.2-liter crate V-8, which puts out 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. And this isn't just cramming the engine under the hood and calling it a day. The engine bolts to the factory eight-speed automatic and it uses the factory computer to ensure cruise control, push-button start and all other JL features work.

Best of all, Bruiser Conversions is offering this crate engine upgrade as a DIY installation kit or they will build you a turn-key conversion. This company made a name for itself doing LS, HEMI and Cummins diesel swaps for the JK Wrangler, so expect to see some other crate engines make their way under the hood of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL.

In addition to engine swaps, Bruiser has also built some wild custom Wranglers over the years, which have been displayed at SEMA. These include the JK Crew, Overlander, and last year's Wrangler 6x6.
