This old buck has 23 scorable points, including three droptines!
The ink is still fresh on the story we shared earlier in the week highlighting a monster muley buck Cody Robbins harvested in Saskatchewan. Less than 24 hours after that giant fell, Cody's wife Kelsy dropped the hammer on a giant buck of her own.
Here are the details on this incredible harvest, as written by Cody and posted to the LIVE 2 HUNT with Cody and Kelsy Facebook page:
"WHEN YOUR HUSBAND SHOOTS THE GNARLIEST BUCK OF HIS LIFE!!!... And you TRUMP HIM less than 24 HOURS LATER!!!
Kelsy has spent three years in her HEATER BODY SUIT hunting this buck... She hasn't cut her tag in our home province since 2014. All because she was IN LOVE WITH ONE DEER.
Who knows how many days she has spent on stand trying for a chance at him. And only folks raising a young family would have any idea the trials and tribulations it has taken to make a story like this come together.
Kelsy is the most AWESOME MOMMA ON THIS PLANET!!!... And with that, her hunting career has taken a back seat the last couple of years. Any efforts she has put into hunting, have been invested in this deer. And watching, as this old buck has given her the slip, time and again...
However, on this day, every chapter of the story finally makes sense. From the time she started hunting him, until now; he's gotten more character, he's bigger, and the story is now ONE OF THE BEST we will EVER TELL. Most importantly, there's no possible way anyone could appreciate a buck more.
The moment he finally came walking in, was exactly how you envision such an anticipated moment to unfold... A 150" buck was standing in front of him, and he came walking in PUFFED UP LIKE A WARRIOR, ready to take on the WORLD... His legs were stiff as he walked, his eyes were crossed showing the whites, and his ears were pinned STRAIGHT DOWN... The two of them both displayed as they did a circle around each other... While they were doing this at 15 YARDS, Kelsy raised her TEN POINT CROSSBOW and took aim... WHACK!!! The BLACK EAGLE disappeared on the mark, AND THIS HOT MOMMA CUT LOOSE!!!
So happy for my BEAUTIFUL BRIDE!!! This old buck we call BLADES has 23 scorable points, including THREE DROPTINES!!! What an AMAZING CREATURE!!!

What an incredible story of perseverance, which makes this harvest all the more special.
Cody and Kelsy share an incredible bond, not only with each other, but also with the animals they hunt. This to us is the true definition of hunting.
