Because dragging a shark backwards at full throttle is both sporting and ethical, right?!
We've highlighted a wide range of morons over the last little while here at Wide Open Spaces, from the guy who thought it'd be cool to wrestle an 11-point buck to the fella who figured he'd get his kicks from dressing up in a T-Rex costume to play paddy-cake with a full grown alligator.
But what gets us fired up are those morons, who call themselves anglers or hunters, blatantly showing complete disregard for ethics and the law - choosing to harass fish and game for no apparent reason other than for kicks. That sums up our July entry to a T.
The following video shows a trio of idiots dragging a shark by it's tail while running full throttle in rough water. The video was reportedly filmed in Florida and is now going viral. Judging from the comments we're reading, most folk believe that these guys need the book thrown at them. (We can't print the other choice words they are using to describe them).
Here's the 11-second clip that people are furious over:
The folks at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, according to posted comments, are aware of this video - as well as the identity of those involved. (We will update this story as further details emerge).
Stuff like this gives ethical anglers and hunters a bad name, and certainly fuels the fire for the anti's. Thanks, morons.
