Animal Kingdom in Disney has made it very clear that the beloved DINOSAUR attraction is on its way out. While fans of the ride have mixed feelings, everyone has come to accept the beloved attraction's departure. However, recent reports indicate that the DINOSAUR attraction and remaining parts of DinoLand U.S.A. may not be as gone as we originally thought.
This Disney Ride Is Not As "Gone" As We Thought
DINOSAUR and the surrounding DinoLand U.S.A recently permanently closed to make way for something new and exciting. Inside the Magic shared that DinoLand U.S.A will be transformed into a Tropical Americas-themed land. This new land will be called Pueblo Esperanza and will feature two attractions inspired by the film Encanto.
The outlet shared that those attractions include "an animal-themed carousel and family-friendly experience inspired by Casita." Additionally, the infamous DINOSAUR ride will be transformed into an Indiana Jones-inspired attraction. While there is no doubt that the previous rides are on their way out, as observed by park guests with new construction crew views, DINOSAUR and its legacy appear to be living on.
How so? Well, multiple people have shared that merchandise from the beloved Disney ride and land has made its way into other shops across the park.

If you are one of the guests saddened by the closure of this Disney ride, have no fear. While the ride may be gone, it is not entirely forgotten. Inside the Magic shared that "some merchandise from its shuttered gift shop trickled into Island Mercantile, a gift shop on Discovery Island at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park."

In a post featuring some of the beloved merchandise, they wrote the following post. "DINOSAUR MECH HAS RETURNED TO ANIMAL KINGDOM. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST! Found at Island Merchantile!!!"
Naturally, the ability to see some of this beloved merchandise brings back memories and nostalgia for all of those who adored the DINOSAUR attraction. So, while this Disney ride is no longer something you can hop on and enjoy, it is clearly not as gone from our hearts or the parks as we initially thought.
