This kid is on track to be one serious deer hunter!
Deer hunting is hard enough, doing it with an atlatl takes things to a whole different level. For the skilled 7-year-old hunter in the video below, that level wasn't high enough.

As you can see, primitive hunting techniques can certainly take down large prey. While many hunters are skilled with a compound bow, very few of us actually take the time to learn the skills needed to be efficient with a longbow, let alone an atlatl. Big high five to this to kid for being patient and closing the distance before letting that thing fly!
