This $35,000 Ice Shanty is Nicer Than Most Tiny Homes

This ice fishing shack is better than some tiny homes!

Anglers in northern climates know ice fishing isn't just something you enjoy seasonally, it's a lifestyle in the winter months. If you don't believe us, you only need to look at some of the ridiculous ice shacks some anglers have at popular fishing destinations like Lake of the Woods in Minnesota.

We have seen some ridiculously cozy ice fishing shanties in the past, but this one may top them all. YouTuber Jay Siemens showcases a $35,000 ice shack trailer in today's video. This shack does not just allow you to spend more time on the water, you can practically LIVE on the water while using this shanty.

Because it has everything you need including a full bathroom, kitchen, and sleeping accommodations. This shanty is nicer than my first apartment!

This is the most amazing portable ice fishing shack we have ever seen. If you think this is extreme for an ice shanty, we see no reason this trailer could not double as a travel trailer for camping during the warmer months. In this way, you get the best of both worlds, the ultimate ice shack, and a way to go camping in style in the offseason. Although it looks like most people who purchase something like this do it so they can rent it out to visiting anglers.

After all, the more time you can spend on the water, the better your odds of catching the big one. With a setup like this, there is no commute in the morning. Just hop out of bed and get fishing. You can also keep fishing late into the night and through dinner if you choose. Who wouldn't want to try fishing in bed sometime?

Obviously, this style of fishing is not for everyone. However, if your area is regularly hit with high winds, and extreme cold temperatures, anything that gets you out on the water during prime ice fishing is a good thing. We want one of these shacks!
