Henry Announces Limited-Edition Silver Anniversary Rifles

Henry Repeating Arms has been rather busy this year celebrating its 25th anniversary. First, the lever-action rifle manufacturer announced limited edition rifles in .22 long rifles and .44-40 WCF, two classic rounds. Those rifles were limited to runs of 5,000 and 2,500 rifles, respectively. Henry has just announced an even more limited Golden Boy "Silver Anniversary" Edition .22 rifle set to be limited to only 1,000 made.

What's more, Henry plans to donate one hundred percent of the proceeds from the sales of these rifles to charities for veterans, first responders, children's hospitals, shooting sports, conservation, and wildlife advocates. It's all a part of Henry's "Guns for Great Causes" campaign that has regularly donated to families with children in need of expensive medical treatments or veteran's organizations.

This new, limited Henry is rather sharp-looking, featuring nickel plating on the receiver, barrel band, and buttplate. The silver color pops thanks to the black-stained hardwood furniture. The stock is inlaid with a nickel-plated, 25th-anniversary Henry Repeating Arms frontiersman logo.

The other rifle specs are identical to the regular Golden Boy rifles. They feature a 20-inch octagon-blued steel barrel with a 1:16 twist rate, a brass bead front, and a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear with a diamond insert. These rifles are chambered for .22 short, long, and long rifles. The tubular magazine has a capacity of 16 LR and 21 shorts.

The rifles are available exclusively through the Henry website starting at 12 eastern on October 13. In a Henry press release, CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato thanked customers and employees for 25 years of business. The company is already pledging proceeds from the sales to organizations like the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Shadow Warriors Project, and the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

"Thanks to the hard work of more than 600 employees and the support of millions of customers worldwide, we are in the fortunate position of being able to help the causes that we believe in," Imperato said in the release. "This rifle is the culmination of our 25th-anniversary celebrations, and it's all about giving back. I am extremely proud of what our Guns for Great Causes endeavors have accomplished in these two-plus decades."
