You’ll get a hoot out of this down south GPS setting. It’ll only take you a hop-n-a-skip to get there!
Southern folks are some of the friendliest, most accommodating people ever to bless the good old U.S. of A.
Now, they’ve come to our favorite source of navigation: the GPS unit. When you hear the personalized service and directions you get out of this one, you’ll realize how easy it is to find your destination. (That is if you can understand the meaning of “good ‘ole boy”).
“Ya’ll stay on this road, and then take a right at the fork after you pass the Wilkin’s place, otherwise you’ll have to grease the wagon twice before hittin’ the main road agin.”
Our friends in the southern states will recognize distance measurements like a piece, a hop, skip, and a jump, and of course, over yonder.
Big thanks to the good folks over at the This is Alabama Facebook page for sharin’ a little slice of everyday life with those of us who don’t always get to experience the graceful ways of our southern brothers and sisters!
