It is not every day that a goldfish sets a world record. That is particularly the case when it comes to operating some type of machinery. Nevertheless, this goldfish now holds a new Guinness World Record after driving a motion-sensing car over 40 feet in 1 minute.

People Magazine shared the details about this interesting and incredible feat. A goldfish named Bulb is getting all sorts of attention across the globe after his impressive feat of driving a motion-sensing car. Luckily for the goldfish, it wasn't too challenging a feat. All he had to do was follow the advice of his good friend Dory and just keep swimming to operate the vehicle.
Bulb's owner and computer engineer, Thomas de Wolf, is responsible for the design and building of the motion-sensing car. The outlet shared that the "car detected the fish's movements inside a water tank to direct the wheels." His invention proved successful when Bulb successfully managed to earn "the record for greatest distance covered in a motion-sensing vehicle by a goldfish in one minute."
To make matters even more impressive, the goldfish set this world record in front of a massive crowd. People Magazine reported that Wolf took Bulb to GWR's Italian TV show Lo Show dei Record to set his record in front of a crowd. Guinness World Records shared a video of the goldfish driving the motion-sensing car on Facebook. Bulb looked happy as could be as he swam enthusiastically in his small water tank.
Call me crazy, but it appeared as if this fish knew what he was doing. After all, he had an entire tank to swim in, but he continuously kept swimming towards the front of the tank, which continued to propel the car forward.
