GMC, Nissan Get Their Trucks in Gear for Winter

Winter doesn't officially start until December 21, but GMC and Nissan are ready!

With winter comes snow, and that means a new way for people to enjoy the outdoors.

Whether you'll be hitting the slopes or making extra money clearing parking lots and roads, here are two trucks that remind us that winter is right around the corner.

For those who like to have fun in the snow, the GMC Sierra 2500HD All Mountain Concept is a look at what this full-size truck could be when decked out with aftermarket accessories.

By far, the coolest part of this concept truck is the snow tracks from Mattracks, but it is also equipped with other accessories that already exist like the Thule snowboard racks, Rigid 30-inch LED light bar, Kicker sound system and roll-up tonneau cover from Advantage.

GMC

This concept already has a sinister look starting with the Sierra 2500HD Denali trim level, but GMC added some eye-catching body graphics just for good measure.

2018 Nissan Titan XD Snow Plow Pkg

Nissan

Aimed at a more real-world application, Nissan unveiled an all-new snow plow package for the 2018 Nissan Titan XD. This package should definitely help the Titan XD better compete with the big boys in the heavy-duty truck market.

The biggest issue for plow trucks is the added weight put on the front axles, and the Titan XD's new Snow Plow Prep Package gets heavy-duty front springs that allow the truck to accommodate a plow, which can weigh up to 786 pounds.
