A natural combination between two icons has led to an expansion of the Filson and Mossy Oak collection.
Thanks to their long lasting reputations and the nostalgic nature of the outdoor industry, Filson and Mossy Oak are doing what's only natural: adding even more to their exceptionally cool and awesomely effective apparel line they've been collaborating on since last year.
The new additions aren't all performance-based hunting gear like past apparel from the line, but they're nonetheless worthy of checking out, mainly because they're harkening back to the origin of Mossy Oak, and the styles that put them on the map to begin with. Combine that with the quality construction and materials Filson devotes to their gear, and you've got a winning effort.
There's a hoodie and a t-shirt, both with Mossy Oak's original 1986 logo. The hoodie's retro graphics are crackle-printed, and the t-shirt is printed with water-based ink.
Two other highlights are centralized a bit more on waterfowl hunting, and feature the Shadow Grass camo, another long-trusted and popular pattern. The Skagit Waterfowl Jacket is a tech-based insulated shell, and the Down Cruiser Vest has a wind- and water-repellent oil finish Cover Cloth exterior.
On top of that, Filson is capitalizing on the resurgence of the original Bottomland camouflage pattern from Mossy Oak, instantly recognizable as timeless and every bit as effective today as it was when it first came out. If you look closely, you'll see a lot of Mossy Oak Bottomland around these days, and not all of it was purchased back in the '80s.
Remember, this is all in addition to the already-touted lineup of apparel, including Filson's signature mackinaw wool jackets and pants, the classic Filson tin cloth style, plus things like Mossy Oak camo field bags, watches, and even portable dog bowls. And it's all stamped with "Made in USA," because Filson wouldn't have it any other way. A smart sportsman can appreciate that.
