This is Why You Don't Take Your Cell Phone on a Kudu Hunt

Watch this horribly embarrassing video for a great example why it's best to leave your cell phone back at camp when you're on a kudu hunt.

Kudu are referred to as the "grey ghost" for a reason, and sometimes it takes years of hunting to take a really nice trophy kudu. When you finally get a chance at a big bull on a kudu hunt, the last thing you need to have happen is for your cell phone to go off and scare it away.

Watch the video to see what I mean. You've been warned, though: this video will probably make you cringe.

Don't be like the guy in that video (or this guy who was texting during his deer hunt) if you ever get the opportunity to go kudu hunting. Leave the cell phone in camp, or at the very least, turn it off.

You've got the rest of your life to check your email and Facebook status, so enjoy your safari hunt and worry about your cell phone later.
