  •  1/4 cup molasses
  •  1/4 cup rice vinegar
  •  2 tbsp brown sugar
  •  2 tbsp honey
  •  4 gloves minced garlic
  •  1 tbsp minced ginger root
  •  2 tbsp sesame oil
  •  1 tbsp sesame seed
  •  3 green onions finely chopped
  •  1 jalapeno pepper - finely diced

Instructions are as follows:

Combine the above ingredients in a bowl, and heat for 2 minutes in microwave. Stir and heat for another 1-2 minutes.

Put the backstraps on the grill that you have set for 275 degrees and apply the glaze once they hit an internal temperature of 125. Keep cooking them until they hit an internal temperature of 130. Remove the deer meat from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Feel free to use this recipe with beef or pork loin, too. A few minor adjustments to temperature may be needed.
