Obviously, the chocolate lab in the video was never in real danger, but smaller dogs, cats and even small children are sometimes killed by coyotes.
Some municipalities have gone as far as hiring sharpshooters to remove coyotes. But, this solution is temporary and coyotes soon repopulate these areas.
