When you travel with a partner or friend, the experience should be less stressful. After all, you have someone with you to deal with the stresses together and to have your back when you need them, or at least that is how it is supposed to go. However, one woman, and a large quantity of the internet, are now fuming at one man and his lack of support. The NY Post shares the somewhat wild story of a tired girlfriend on a plane. The woman shared a video on her TikTok account, called marathonprep, about the entire ordeal. In a text overlay on top of the video, she wrote the following:
"When you get off a flight and the woman next to you immediately voice-to-texts her friend saying 'worst flight ever, I'll text you later...just everything about it.' Meanwhile my boyfriend tells me I slept on her should the entire flight - and he accidentally took a live photo of it."
Although I don't know how this woman handled the situation behind the scenes, she is much calmer on camera than I would have been. The least I would have expected my partner to do would have been to wake me up gently and say, "Hey, honey, you are sleeping on this woman." Additionally, he could have just transitioned my head to his shoulder.
After all, we have all been there. You have been on the plane for hours when you start to get drowsy. You start to nod off, and your head lolls to the side. This poor woman was so exhausted she didn't feel her head slump onto the woman's shoulder. Honestly, in her deep sleep, she probably assumed it was her boyfriend's shoulder. Now the majority of the internet is asking the same question: why did this boyfriend do nothing to help his tired girlfriend?

Naturally, after this video gained popularity, it caused the boyfriend to face some major backlash online - rightfully so. Many people did not blame the poor, tired girlfriend for any of the debacle that happened. Instead they blamed the boyfriend, not only for not assisting her but for photographing the entire ordeal. Additionally people argued that the other woman could have woken her and asked her to remove her head from her shoulder.
