Quick Look: New Benchmade 535-3 Bugout EDC Knife

This new version of the popular folder is packed with upgraded components.

When Benchmade knives introduced the Bugout knife family four years ago, it included the extremely popular Benchmade 535 Bugout and the Mini Bugout. The line soon began to dominate the everyday-carry pocket knife market.

Benchmade recently gave the ultra-popular Bugout a few upgrades, resulting in the brand new 535-3 Bugout model.

The blade on the new Benchmade Bugout has a drop-point blade made of excellent CPM-S30V "super steel" for superior corrosion resistance and edge retention with an ergonomic grip of milled carbon fiber.

The ambidextrous AXIS lock mechanism on this folding knife ensures smooth opening and rock-solid blade lockup. And, its lightweight, reversible, deep-carry pocket clip ensures it will remain discreet and out of the way, but there when you need it. The knife is accented by a striking blue thumb stud on either side that matches an accent on the lanyard hole, making this a superb, upgraded EDC knife.

The 535-3 Bugout retains the light weight the Bugout family is known for, while pushing performance and design aesthetics to the next level. It also carries the famous Benchmade warranty and is made in the USA.

These upgrades truly make for a great knife that's high quality and will definitely be on a lot of wishlists this year for anyone looking for a new razor-sharp carry knife. Check out BladeHQ or Amazon for availability.
