Watch this trophy Axis buck get nailed with a perfect shot and get pumped for next hunting season.
Hunters would agree it's great to visualize how you're going to take an animal, but executing those plans is easier said than done. Check out this video and witness a bowman taking an Axis buck like it's nobody's business.
Did you see the slow motion kill shot? That hunter waited patiently to make a calculated shot, "right through the boiler room," of the Axis buck.
According to the Youtube user, a "Hoyt Carbon Spyder 30 and a Bishop Holy Trinity Broadhead" was used to take down this trophy animal. The Axis buck measured 30" inches and was harder to harvest than the hunter anticipated.
This hunter might attribute his harvest to luck, but there's more to it than that. He was skilled with his bow and although he was in the right place at the right time, it would have meant nothing if his shot wasn't on point. Take time now to get better with your shots, lest you want to poorly shot an animal and chase it through the woods for miles.
