Michelle Harmes

Growing up in Alaska with a love of fishing, I didn't start hunting until I was 28. The moment I picked up my first bow I was hooked! My first harvest was an Hawaiian sow with a bow. When we moved to Alabama, I jumped into the world of whitetail and hog hunting. I started bowfishing, which combines my love of archery with my love of fishing. I've hunted in several states including Hawaii, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Missouri, South Carolina, Maine and New York. In addition to deer, waterfowl, and hogs, I've taken alligators and a black bear. Sharing my passion for hunting is important to me. Through inviting others on hunts, educating through writing and sharing hunting stories, I hope to encourage others to pick up a bow and get outdoors.
