These poor people were just trying to get to their holiday when they got to witness more than they signed up for. Passengers aboard an Air Asia flight had the unfortunate privilege of watching as a drunk passenger stripped down to his undergarments. As if that wasn't thrilling enough, the beligerent man also tried to exit the plane while it was still in flight.
Drunk Passenger Stripped Down And Tried To Flee An Air Asia Flight

The NY Post shared some of the details surrounding this bizarre situation aboard an Air Asia flight. The outlet shared that "The wild incident occurred on Thursday aboard an Airbus 320." Additionally, that aircraft was "flying from Cam Ranh, Vietnam, to Bangkok, Thailand." The flight was only 15 minutes from landing at their destination - so close, yet so far! It was at that time that the beligerient passenger began to make a scene.
The man, who was believed to be Russian, supposedly began to get agitated and began pacing up and down the aisles. Then, as if that were not enough, he decided that removing his clothing would further prove his point in his agitated state. As the drunk passenger stripped down, he demanded that the flight crew let him off the aircraft. Naturally, his request was denied.
One of the passengers in close proximity to the man recalled that the smell of alcohol coming off of him was so intoxicating that it made them want to vomit. Luckily, the flight crew managed to maintain the man until the plane landed.
As They Land The Drama Further Unfolds
If you thought the drama ended after the drunk passenger stripped down, think again. Once the plane landed, the man's desire to leave the aircraft only intensified. The NY Post shared that "When the plane touched down, the man reportedly barged through the open door and onto the mobile passenger stairs before tumbling down the steps."
Despite injuring his leg in the fall, the belligerent man was still determined to flee the scene. He took off and attempted to crawl under a vehicle to avoid being captured by authorities. Unfortunatley for him, his endeavors were unsuccessful. Many people were surprised by this man's antics, but others were not. Those who were not surprised blamed the alcohol for the scene and suggested that it be removed from flights to prevent further issues.
