A Florida mom gave birth in a surreal way - while watching the Disney World fireworks. This comes after going into labor while at the theme park.
The incident happened last December. While Jacqueline Skelton went into labor while visiting Disney World, she didn't actually have the baby at the theme park. Instead, she was rushed to a hospital near Disney World. Strangely enough, her room had the perfect view of the upcoming Magic Kingdom fireworks show.
So while she was giving birth, she literally saw fireworks. She shared on Instagram about the experience.
Disney World Fireworks Go Off
"I'll never forget that my view between contractions was the Magic Kingdom fireworks because I gave birth at the 'Disney' hospital," she wrote on the video. "A little Disney magic before meeting my greatest adventure. ??. Giving birth at the "Disney" hospital meant my labor came with a view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Definitely one of those "only at Disney" moments I'll never forget. ??"
"I know that there's so much cringe behind that but I do!" she said. Although she didn't name her son after Disney, her daughter's name is inspired by Sleeping Beauty. So there's that.
"It's kind of taken over our life in a way that I never would have thought, but it's it's super fun," she said.
The Florida mom gave birth at AdventHealth's Celebration, Fla. hospital. They do have views of the fireworks for select rooms. And no you cannot request them. It is a hospital, not a hotel after all.
