Disney World is constantly updating its theme parks. From restaurants to attractions to entire sections of the park, Disney is always trying to improve. However, with recent closures and expansions, any new change that is now revealed makes me hold my breath. Will this be an exciting new addition? Or are they tearing down an old-time fan-favorite to make room for the new? Disney World recently filed to change this beloved attraction, and I don't know how I feel about it.

According to Inside the Magic, Disney World recently filed a permit for construction on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. This incredible attraction is one of the park highlights at Disney's Hollywood Studios. But what do these changes really mean? If you are like me and absolutely adore this ride, then you can take a breath of fresh air.
As of now, it appears that these "changes" are all just a part of "general construction." Seeing as this ride has you go high into the sky before dropping you several stories, I have no issue with it being properly maintained. Inside the Magic shared that the company that will be working on this beloved attraction has worked on other Disney attractions as well. Apparently, this company was "the third-party contractor for work on The Haunted Mansion and near Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom Park," two of my other favorite rides.
Something that made me feel even calmer was that Disney World has not made any public announcements regarding changing this attraction. Typically, if no major announcements are made, that is because the changes will be "minor refurbishments or maintenance projects." So for now, it appears as if the Tower of Terror will just be getting a little maintenance. Let's all take a collective sigh of relief.
