As an avid Disney adult, I can argue that there is no wrong time to go to Disney World. However, I will warn you that there are definitely more expensive times to go. As well as times when it will be jam-packed. If you are not a fan of price gouging or being packed into spaces like a sardine, then you may think Disney World is not the place for you. However, never fear! There are certain times throughout the year that you can still meet the mouse while avoiding the massive crowds and insane prices. Here are the best times to go to Disney World to avoid crowds and insane prices.

If you want to see Mickey but don't feel like dealing with the masses, you are in luck. A new analysis by USA Today has revealed the best time to go to Disney World to avoid the crowds and high prices. I have to say, as someone who has been fortunate enough to go multiple times, I would argue their data adds up.
A lot of the advice is common sense. Disney is a hot spot for kids and families; you want to avoid peak times when they are most likely to be there. For example, avoid going during school breaks, major holidays, or summer vacation. During all of those times, you are much more likely to experience crowds. Therefore, the opposite is true. If you want to know the best times to visit Disney World, here they are.
- Mid-January to early February
- Early March - before spring break
- Late April - after spring break
- Early to late May - right before summer vacation
- After Labor Day in September through early October
- Early to mid-November
- Early December - before the holidays
Personal Experience
Speaking from personal experience, I can say that these times are indeed the best times to go to Disney World to avoid the crowds. I have been in the peak of summer, and it is jam-packed. I have also been in mid-September, and I just recently got back from my honeymoon there in early November. Out of all of those times, I found that mid-November was the least crowded, and it had a definitely smaller price tag than during the summer.
However, be warned, Florida weather in November can be unpredictable. One day was sunny, and 82, and the next was chilly and 33, so bring a plethora of clothing options.
