2018 Ford F-150 Named Truck of Texas at the TAWA Truck Rodeo

Fresh off a significant round of updates, the 2018 Ford F-150 was named this year's Truck of Texas at this year's TAWA Truck Rodeo.

Deep in the heart of Texas Hill Country, members of the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) assembled for the 25th-annual Truck Rodeo. As has happened 14 times in the past, an F-Series truck drove off with the top honor as the Truck of Texas.

More than 70 TAWA members judged a total of 64 trucks, crossovers and SUVs in both on- and off-road conditions at the Longhorn River Ranch near Austin, Texas.

America's best-selling truck received numerous improvements for the 2018 model year including fresher styling, more modern powertrain options and better overall quality. The 2018 Ford F-150 now boasts best-in-class fuel economy, towing capacity and payload capacity.
