Meat? Good. Candy? Good. Meat candy? Really good!
First, you bake bacon strips in a 400-degree oven for about 20 minutes. While the meat for your meat candy is baking, chop up the pecans.
Once the bacon is cooked, pull it out of the oven and sprinkle it with brown sugar and the chopped pecans.
Then, it’s back in the oven for about another 10 minutes.
Jess says it’s good over a lot of food, like deviled eggs. She also says it’s best when eaten warm, so I think I’ll eat it as meat candy straight out of the oven.
