Watch: This Sturgeon Fishing Video Will Make You Want to Pack Your Bags for Canada

Catching dinosaurs in British Columbia looks like a blast!

When it comes to freshwater fish, you can't get any bigger than the white sturgeon. Well, not in North America at least.

Some of the biggest sturgeon on earth can be found in British Columbia's legendary Fraser River. That's where the "Googan Squad" goes to try and catch some of these prehistoric monsters.

You can see day one of their epic fishing trip in the video below.

Giant prehistoric fish. Beautiful scenery. What more could you ask from a fishing trip? While they caught some large fish here, the 7-footer isn't even close to the largest fish swimming around in the Fraser.

NHL players Matt Hendricks and Dustin Byfuglien caught a huge 9-footer back in October on one of their days off. Then there's the 10-foot, 650-pounder known as "Pig Nose" that was caught and released on the Fraser in both 2015 and 2016.

But even those fish can't hold a candle to the 11.2-foot, 750-pound monster caught there last June. That huge fish was estimated to be over 100 years old!

Those stories and this awesome video make you want to pack your bags and head to Canada, don't they?
