Negev Desert River Roborn

The Zin River in the Negev Desert in Israel springs back to life after years of drought.

It’s not something you see every day. It is, however, something many locals have been waiting on for a long time. The Zin River in Israel is in the heart of the Negev Desert. The video below, first shared by Storyful, captures the river springing back to life after years of drought.

The waters have disappeared and returned to the Zin River every few years since Biblical times. That’s right. This river regularly dries out completely, only to be flooded again every few years. This time, water flowed quickly after heavy rains in the southern part of the desert.
