Military members and survivalists will agree: This is likely the best medical tape to ever be available.
Military members, law enforcements, and emergency crews across the globe know how important reporting and communicating vital signs can be when disaster strikes. There’s now a specialized vital signs medical tape that was designed with these situations in mind.
It’s a sticky form with spaces for heart rate, blood pressure, and other info that can be read by higher levels of care as patients are transported from one place to another. A quick condition check can do wonders in emergency care, especially when minutes matter.
It’s called Trauma Tape, and it’s the best new survivalist item we’ve come across in some time.
As the video showed, these are the important vital signs that can be recorded and attached to a casualty or wounded individual.
- Body temperature
- Heart rate
- Respiratory rate
- Blood pressure
- Pulse oximetry
- Glasgow Coma Scale
- M.I.S.T. Report (MILITARY EDITION)
The super-adhesive tape is two inches wide and 10 yards long. There are two types, the standard and military editions. The military edition includes a M.I.S.T. report for use in combat environments.
It’s also great for the everyday civilian, because it can be used as regular medical or athletic tape as well. Most importantly, it won’t rub off, wash away, or smudge beyond recognition. The tape stays with the casualty throughout transport, a critical attribute of this kind of tool.
Trauma Tape is the brainchild of RE Factor Tactical, a company that caught our eye when we noticed their authentic and useful survival and tactical gear. There’s plenty more worth checking out; Trauma Tape barely scratches the surface.
