Watch this young bull struggle to get free of a tarp.
The rut may have ended a while ago, but a young bull elk in Oregon still got into a bit of trouble when he became entangled in a blue tarp in a back yard.
Luckily, RJ Marx was there to catch the animal's predicament on camera.
Even though the bull runs off trailing the tarp behind him, UPI reports the bull eventually freed itself without any human intervention.
"He managed to extricate himself just a few houses up the street," Marx's wife Eve later wrote. "I retrieved the tarp. They were all grazing peacefully ten minutes later up on the golf course."
It's somewhat surprising the struggle didn't just cause the bull's antlers to pop off. It is shed hunting season after all.
Because the elk got away without incident, I think that makes it okay to laugh about when he runs off trailing that tarp behind him. File that under things you don't see every day!
