Video: Guy Puts 'Caged' Fish Back Into the Pond After Hurricane Irma

Pet owner gets his fish out of their protective cage following Hurricane Irma.

Hurricane Irma posed a threat to this guy's fish, which live in a modified kiddie pool outside his house. So, he made a cage for them, and now he's putting them back home.

As you just saw, this fish cage worked very well, and he was able to keep them all safe during Hurricane Irma's violent winds and powerful rain. The hardest part getting the fish back into their pond, was extracting them from the cage. He had to lift the cage out of the water to corner the fish so he could catch them more easily with the net.

Did you see how wet he got when moving the fish? Each one thrashed hard when they were in the cage and even more when they were in the net being moved. The most important thing in the video was that the fish are safe and home, not that the owner had a wet shirt at the end of it all.
