Flashback to the Ohio Man Who Caught a 55-Pound, 13-Ounce Muskie

How much do you think this trophy muskie weighs?

Zack Hall recently tangled with the kind of muskie all anglers dream of catching. And, this monster may have set a new state record.

Hall caught the potential-record-setting muskie April 18 from shore. Unbelievably, he hooked into the girthy gal by sight-fishing for her in 3 feet of water.

The current muskie record for Ohio is a 55-pound, 13-ounce fish. Although we'll never know what Hall's muskie ultimately weighed, it did measure half an inch longer.

Lucky for us, the entire catch was recorded on video. Sit back and enjoy.

We'd love to hear your best guess on what this fish weighed.

Awesome catch, Zack, and great work on releasing a fish of this magnitude. That's going to be a tough one to top!
