Video: Cleveland Browns Fan Catches Live Possum During a Game

This opossum may have been the lucky charm for the Browns.

After 635 days, the Cleveland Browns finally ended one of the longest losing streaks in NFL history with a 21-17 win over the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

While the city of Cleveland celebrated the win as if it were the Super Bowl, a few fans seem to think they've found the city's good luck charm in a viral video that came from the stands during the game.

A fan actually caught a live possum wandering around the stadium and helped remove it.

Well, that's not something you see at every football game! This guy has definitely done this a few times in the past.

As soon as the video hit the internet, it went wildly viral. The hashtag #RallyPossum was trending in Cleveland for hours after the victory. Even the Browns' official Twitter account retweeted the video. Of course, the parody social media accounts soon followed.

Sometimes the internet works a little too fast because T-shirts and hoodies were already available for sale this morning.

Hey, the Browns did break what was nearly a two-year losing streak. Maybe they're onto something with the rally possum?
