Toad Missouri Crappie Goes on the Scale to Prove its Size

These guys just put a big slab Missouri crappie on the scale for the camera to prove just how big it really is.

Some excited fishermen from Missouri made a short video to share of a pig crappie they say was caught in Mozingo Lake.

Putting it on the scale for the camera is one way to prove its size, but they also said "4.32, that's so close to the Missouri state record"

First watch the video and then check out the actual Missouri state record below.

The MO state record for white crappie was caught back in March of 2000 by angler Samuel H. Barbee in a farm pond.

At four pounds, nine ounces the record isn't much bigger than the four pound, three ounces here in the video. Certainly their scale wasn't an approved state scale, but those little digital tools are still pretty accurate.

Congratulation to these guys and big thanks for sharing their video with the rest of us!
