Polaris is the Official Off-Road Vehicle of the 2019 Texas High School Football Season

Here is your chance to win a Polaris RANGER while attending a football game.

Polaris is teaming up with Dave Campbell's Texas Football and the University Interscholastic League to provide one Texas high school football program with a brand new 2020 Polaris RANGER.

"The passion people have for football in Texas is as big as the state and it truly brings communities together," RANGER marketing director Josh Hermes said in a press release. "We're excited to be a part of Texas High School Football this season and show our love for the game by recognizing programs that are driven and embody the hard-working values of RANGER."

Polaris will be working directly with Dave Campbell Texas Football, a publication known as the guide to all things Texas football, in an effort to find the ideal program to receive the recently revealed 2020 RANGER XP 1000 Texas Edition side-by-side UTV.

This version of the ever-popular RANGER is a 999cc, 82-horsepower, liquid cooled beast with a 1,500-pound payload capacity. That should prove useful for any hard-working football program.

The partners will identify five unique high school football programs as finalists to compete for the title of "Polaris' Most Driven Team." The teams will share their stories of their team and community and what drives them in life.

The grand prize winner will be voted upon by fans on TexasFootball.com at the conclusion of the regular season, and the winner announced on December 21 at AT&T Stadium during the UIL Football State Championships.

But Polaris also wants to recognize the importance of academics. That is why they also plan to recognize a "Polaris Scholar of the Week" during the season. This award will emphasize and recognize academic excellence and leadership of high school athletes off the field in a classroom setting.

This promotion is also recognizing the passion of Texas football fans. Polaris plans to be present at 14 high school games this year, both regular and postseason with some of the latest RANGER models on display. Fans will have the chance to enter to win one at these games.

As we found out when we test drove them last year, the RANGER is a workhorse of a vehicle that knows how to have fun too. Good luck to all the teams competing for this useful vehicle this season!
