The numbers aren’t in, but judging from the buzz, we may have ourselves a world-record moose.
Oleg Stupar may be next in line to get his name in the record books. The avid hunter, who resides in Moscow, Russia, posted the following pics to his Facebook page on Nov. 13.
There’s no denying this moose rack is absolutely massive in size. But, is it enough to topple the current world record shot in the Yukon in 2013, which scored 263-5/8?
When that moose was harvested, the rack had a measurement of 191 centimeters. In a comment Stupar posted to Facebook, he states his antlers measure 195 centimeters.
Stupar might have some competition. We brought you the story in September of a possible-world-record moose that was harvested in Alaska. We’re still awaiting the official score on that one. (Read the story here.)
We’ll keep you updated on this story as details become available.
