The early bird really does get the worm. Or, in this case, a once-in-a-lifetime shot of a moose crossing the water at sunrise. While visiting Grand Teton National Park, Austin Hittel (@ahittel) captured a majestic video of a moose walking through a stream with the mountains serving as the most beautiful background. While the moose is shrouded in shadows, the light gives an amazing reflection off the water.

Early morning hikes sure do come with their benefits! In busier parks, those who head out early can avoid the crowds and are more likely to see the park's wild residents. For example, Grand Teton National Park is home to bison, moose, elk, pronghorn, grizzly, and black bears, all of which are known to be active at dawn and dusk. Hittel did a great job of capturing the moment while giving the moose his space and being respectful. One commenter wrote, "Keep posting this video, dude. Deserves legit a million likes this is so rare." A sentiment many other viewers agreed with. Another viewer commented, "So majestic! A true testament to the beauty of our world and how lucky we are to have it!" It truly is an amazing sight to behold. When one viewer asked where in the park this was taken, another viewer chimed in with Schwabacher's landing. So if you are headed to the park, you may want to give this spot a visit for its beautiful views and a chance to see some wildlife.
Hittel was able to grab some video of another moose in the park in a video posted at the beginning of October.

In the video, you can see that Hittel is across the water from the moose. The video is taken at sunrise, and the moose slowly walks along the stream's banks with the trees and the mountains in the background. It's truly another idyllic shot of nature in the park.
