It's decided, I want to be this kid when I grow up. I am sure I am not alone with my lifelong passion for traveling the globe. It is my dream to visit every continent and see as many stunning countries as I can while I am alive. Well, at almost 7 years old, this young boy has already visited all 7 continents. Can you believe it! Find out how this kid visited all 7 continents before the age of 7.

When speaking with the NY Post, travel writer Jordi Lippe-McGraw shared the fascinating story of how she ended up having the world's most traveled kid. Contrary to popular belief, she and her husband did not have this all planned out. You know how some people know their child will be a doctor or a famous star - this wasn't like that. Lippie-McGraw and her husband simply enjoyed traveling the globe on their own and decided to bring their son along for the ride.
"We didn't start out with the intention of raising a child who would see seven continents by 7," she told the outlet. "We were just traveling because that's who we are and what we love." Lippie-McGraw and her husband, Ross McGraw, wasted no time introducing their son, Wilder, to their passion. Wilder was only 8 weeks old when he took his first flight.
Additionally, that first flight was to the stunning Portugal. Afterwards, this fortunate child got to visit the Caribbean islands, Canada, and Mexico, all before he turned two! Already in his first two years of life, he had seen more than most of the population. Granted, he and his family had to take a quick break during the pandemic, but as soon as the world reopened, they were back in action.
So, How 7 Continents Before The Age Of 7?
As previously stated, Lippie-McGraw did not have this vision for her son. Instead, it was something that came up when Wilder was around five years old. She and her husband were reminiscing over all of the beautiful places they had traveled as a family when they noticed something interesting. They had already visited five continents as a family.
It was her husband who decided to put the plan into motion. When retelling the story to the Post, she claimed he said, " Well...we might as well finish it." Honestly, I love the optimism. A family trip to South Africa, Costa Rica, Dubai, and Zambia got them off to a good start. Afterward, it was followed by trips to Amsterdam, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
With all of that traveling, the family successfully had six continents under its belt, but what about the seventh? While not many people dream of traveling to Antarctica, this family wasn't going to let a little cold stop them from reaching their goal. Additionally, this continent held a special place in the family's heart. The Post shared that "the icy trek was deeply personal. Antarctica had been her own seventh continent — visited while she was five months pregnant with Wilder."
Lippe-McGraw admitted that returning with her son felt "like closing a loop we didn't know we'd opened." The trip was truly incredible, full of penguin sightings, learning experiences, and incredible bonding with family. I wonder if this family is looking to adopt? I would be okay with hitting all 7 continents before 35.
