Dogs and horses go hand in hand, especially when it comes to herding breeds like Australian Shepherds. They are busy around the stables and pastures all day long and are bound to become friends with the horses. One horse is so friendly that it decided to give its companion dog a massage at the end of a long day.

In an adorable social media video, a horse reaches around his stable door to give his doggy best friend a massage. Obviously, this horse cares quite a bit for his canine buddies' well-being. Who doesn't need a little bit of bodywork after a long day of chores on the farm? The best part of the video may be how much the pup is enjoying the massage too. The pooch moves around so the horse can get to just the right spot without too much effort. The horse definitely makes sure to give some attention to the Aussie's shoulders. The video from Haines Horse Company was shared on the popular Australian Shepherd Instagram page, Aussies Doing Things. The adorable duo gained almost 70,000 likes and over 600 comments in four days.
Many of the commenters can relate, having similar relationships between their Aussies and horses.
One commenter said, "Life goals right there." While another one said, "Okay, your turn." Really, it is only fair that the pup should return the favor with a horse massage, though it might take him a little longer. Equine massage is a labor-intensive task, but it sure does help with soreness and range of motion. However, a thorough equissage may be outside this pup's capabilities.
However, this horse gives a pretty good pet massage. I don't know about you, but we think this horse may have a future in canine massage therapy.
