Florida Home Owners Surprised To Find Two Massive Alligators Ringing Their Door Bell

Imagine you hear the doorbell ring unexpectedly. You probably expect it's an unannounced visit from the in-laws at worst or unsolicited solicitors also at worst. Seriously, unexpected guests are the worst. This is especially true if they have rows of razor-sharp teeth. Florida home owners were surprised to find two massive alligators ringing their doorbell.

I mean just check out this video uploaded by byzvntine on Reddit. In the video, two alligators waddled up to the front door and tried to make their way into the home. At least, they're polite about it. Instead of breaking and entering, they politely rang the door bell.

Alligators Ring Door Bell

"Had a few visitors this morning," the home owner wrote about the strange encounter. After all, it's not every day that alligators come up to your door and start to ring the doorbell. I'm honestly impressed by their flexibility and understanding of things. Fortunately, no one answered the door. But can you imagine?!

These animals demonstrated decidingly human-like behavior. Viewers were amazed by the alligators' ability to ring the door bell. It's an impressive parlor trick for a reptile.

One person questioned, "How can something terrifying be so goofy lol the way it falls the second time is so dumb." To which, another responded, "Terrifying doesn't have to be smart. Ugly and with incredible bite force is enough." I suppose that's a valid point. It's just not often that we see the reptiles in such a goofy light. Usually, I'm writing about gator maulings instead. It's nice to be able to write about something positive for a change.

Another person wrote, "If it was an 8 foot chain link fence that f—ker would've been over it in 5 seconds. The Kennedy space center learned the hard way to surround their buildings with fences that flare outwards at the top, so these toothy ba——ds fall off."

Another wrote, "They're just inspectors looking for deficiencies in your houses construction.  They're showing up so late because they've been swamped."

Give up to the internet, they find a way to make a joke about near about anything.
