Filson and Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Join Forces to Support Public Lands

In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Filson teamed up with Backcountry Hunters & Anglers to create a limited-edition collection of co-branded products.

Featuring a collection of Filson's staple products with licensed BHA graphics and logos, the partnership echoes their mission to protect North America's hunting and fishing on public lands and waters.

"Filson's heritage is rooted in the outdoors and we are honored to support BHA's advocacy for public lands, waters and wildlife," said Doug Thielen, director of marketing at Filson. "The products promote BHA's commitment to conservation, the importance of hunting and angling access on public lands and the wildlife that depend on it."

The lineup of products includes four options, all of which support BHA.

BHA Mesh Logger Cap, $36

Featuring an adjustable leather back strap, a pre-curved bill and a mesh back and sides, this hat will trip any outdoorsman's trigger.

BHA Outfitter Short Sleeve Graphic T-Shirt, $45

Using 6.5-ounce, 100-percent cotton jersey, this heavy-duty T-shirt can handle any occasion. A rib-knit collar helps it hold shape through strenuous activity.

BHA Ultralight Vest, $145

This lightweight, packable vest is warmer than it looks. Using a 1.5-ounce ripstop nylon shell that's insulated with 60-gram PrimaLoft Gold, it has the highest warmth-to-weight ratio that Filson offers in a synthetic insulation.

BHA Watch Cap, $24

Made of quick-drying acrylic, this hat will keep you warm during cold days afield or on the water.

"At Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, our public lands and waters are central to our identities as sportsmen and women," said Land Tawney, BHA president and CEO. "BHA's partnership with Filson enables us to advance our work to conserve critical fish and wildlife habitat, secure opportunities to hunt and fish, and find solace and adventure in North America's wildest backcountry.

"I was first introduced to Filson by my father and inherited his Mackinaw Cruiser when he passed away," Tawney added. "I have been rocking Filson ever since. We are thrilled to work with such a legacy-oriented company and to continue our collaboration through Filson's new product line. We are grateful to Filson for its ongoing support of BHA's mission."

This isn't Filson's first time supporting conservation using this model, as they recently collaborated with Ducks Unlimited to produce a DU-licensed lineup of waterfowl apparel.
